Our 46–72.5 kV HV CT series offers multiple iron cores and a wide range of specifications to serve substations and high power load applications. Common uses include electricity billing, system monitoring, and protection.
All models use Huntsman Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, offering exceptional electrical and mechanical properties suited to demanding environments. These units are particularly well-suited to humid, high-salt, or heavily polluted areas — including island regions and offshore wind power installations — and are designed for straightforward installation and maintenance.
Units can be manufactured to IEC, IEEE, and other international standards, with customization, outdoor variants, and ODM/OEM services available on request.
All units are type-tested and routine-tested through a TAF-accredited (ILAC member) laboratory. We offer a wide range of specifications alongside customization and ODM/OEM services, making these CTs a proven choice for utilities, factories, and major infrastructure projects worldwide.

High-voltage outdoor-type current transformers AWF-52 and AWF-72 are available in single-core and two-core varieties. These instrument transformers can be offered according to client-specified standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE, etc.) and specifications, such as accuracy, burden, and others.
Cast in Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, these current transformers are distinguished by their extended creepage distance. These and other outstanding characteristics enable the products to withstand solar ultraviolet radiation and IEC-defined pollution level III (“Heavy”). In fact, these high-voltage outdoor-type current transformers maintain their excellent electrical properties even under long-term exposure to salt fog, high temperature, and high humidity.
