Our 36 kV CT series covers indoor and outdoor applications, including multi-ratio CTs with two or more iron cores and revenue-metering CTs for 36 kV systems — such as ERCT (Extended Range Current Transformers) designed for MOF metering units. Our materials focus on durability, with epoxy resin cast current transformers using internationally renowned Huntsman's Araldite® epoxy resin, and outdoor models utilizing UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin to maintain stable quality.
Units can be manufactured to IEC, IEEE, and other international standards, with customization, outdoor variants, and ODM/OEM services available on request.
All units are type-tested and routine-tested through a TAF-accredited (ILAC member) laboratory. We offer a wide range of specifications alongside customization and ODM/OEM services, making these CTs a proven choice for utilities, factories, and major infrastructure projects worldwide.
36 kV Multi-Ratio Current Transformers for Indoor Use
EWF-30D Series
Our EWF-30D Series multi-ratio current transformers are insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin and are available in two-core and three-core options. Suited to 36kV (max.) power systems, these current transformers are intended to operate in conjuction with measuring or monitoring instruments, or with protective relays. Fully compliant with the regulations for 36kV products according to IEEE or IEC Standards, these products are characterized by excellent moisture resistance, superior insulation, and high mechanical strength.

Outdoor-Type Current Transformers / Extended Range Current Transformers (ERCTs) for Revenue Metering (12~36 kV)
AWF-12, AWF-24, AWF-36
Intended for 12, 24, or 36 kV power systems, these outdoor-use current transformers for revenue metering are insulated with Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. Able to withstand solar ultraviolet radiation without deterioration in electrical performance, these current transformers are suited to long-term outdoor usage.
This product range has been supplied to power companies in numerous countries of tropical maritime climate, where these current transformers have been exposed to high moisture and salt spray for more than 20 years while continuing to function with stable quality.
AWF 12, AWF-24, and AWF-36 current transformers are available in various classes of accuracy (0.15S, 0.15, 0.2S, 0.2, and 0.3) and have a burden rating of B-0.5. In addition, they can be offered as Extended Range Current Transformers (ERCT)* if requested by the customer.
Mainly used as part of an MOF (Metering Outfit), these current transformers can also be used for current monitoring purposes.

* The ERCT specifications enable the CT to maintain its rated accuracy and burden rating while measuring 1%~150% (or even 400%) of its rated current, surpassing the usual metering-class requirement (5%~100%).
